VIVOplay, a pioneer company in Latin America, with more than 600 K users in Latam and US Hispanics, more than a decade of streaming and media industry experience, and partnerships with top key players in the business, brings to life VIVOpago, a disruptive way of tokenizing content viewing time.

The media industry, in particular premium content distributors, are increasingly facing content monetization challenges across the half-billion strong LATAM region. A primary growth hurdle is the large unbanked population with essentially no access to digital payment methods.

The premium content business does not use advertising based revenue models to monetize its assets. This is why we created VIVOpago, a three-way smart contract between advertisers, premium content distributors and viewers, all in one Dapp:

1. Advertisers load up ads and pay viewers with tokens to watch them.
2. Viewers access relevant ads in their wallet and exchange their exposition time for tokens, which they use to pay for premium content.
3. Premium content providers accept tokens as direct payment from viewers.
